By using this website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below. Your statutory rights are not affected. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time therefore please revisit this section of the site on every visit you make and especially prior to making a purchase. At various points throughout the website there will be links to other companies (our suppliers) sites. Each of these individual companies will have their own terms and conditions and privacy policies therefore please access such sites at your own risk and view their Terms & Conditions. To purchase goods on this site you must be at least 18 years of age.

All prices published herein are inclusive of VAT at the current rate and also include delivery to an address on the UK mainland. For delivery to Scotland please call or email us with your postcode and we will be happy to supply you with the delivery cost to your area. We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, and Delta. We can also accept payment by cheque. Please contact our telephone sales line on 01274 494003 between 9-5pm Monday – Saturday.Each order by you constitutes an offer to purchase under the terms and conditions herein.

All products are subject to availability. The majority of goods will be dispatched within 7 - 14 working days. If goods are unavailable after 30 days then you have the right to cancel your order and we will make a full refund to you. We cannot be responsible for any losses incurred by you through the non-availability or late arrival of any order. Cancellation of orders will only be accepted with notification in writing, by telephone, fax or e-mail within 7 days of the original purchase date. Cancellations after this time will not be accepted.

We require payment in full at point of order for all goods. We are entitled to amend any price to allow for supplier increases and also in the case of any errors or omissions which may come to light. Where possible we have included certain technical information to accompany our products. Most of this information is taken directly from manufacturers sales brochures and installation/user manuals. We cannot be held responsible for the total accuracy of the technical details and we would ask you to use this information as an approximate guide only. Specific details can be obtained by contacting the relevant manufacturer.

Delivered goods become the purchaser’s responsibility at the point when the goods are signed for.

Delivery will only be made to the address on the order form. That address must be the one registered with the card company relating to the card used for payment.

A signature will be required from you by the carrier company. The driver will only accept this signature from a person who has obvious access to the property being delivered to. Goods cannot be left in garages/outhouses or gardens etc.

Boxes or containers and goods should be inspected for any signs of damage prior to signing the delivery sheet and any defects noted on same. If, for any reason you are unable to check the goods on delivery you should sign for them "unchecked". Simply write "unchecked" next to your signature. Alternatively refuse the delivery and contact us immediately for a replacement.

Goods should be inspected thoroughly and any damage found should be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt.

Most manufacturers offer a minimum 12 months warranty with their products. If your new product develops a fault within its initial guarantee period then in the first instance please contact the relevant manufacturer who will arrange for a qualified engineer to call and rectify the fault. Please note that Legend Gas Fires Ltd only offer a warranty for parts not labour. Alternatively you can contact our service department on 01274 494003 who can arrange the call out on your behalf. Please note that some manufacturers won't offer a warranty for fires purchased on the internet.

When you fill in the payment form and clicks the ·Submit· button, your details are not sent straight-away. Instead a secure link is set up between the shopper·s browser and WorldPay producing a private/public encryption code which then wraps the transaction details before leaving the shopper·s premises.

Returns

We advise you to check all requirements including measurements with the manufacturer prior to ordering any products from shop4afire.co.uk. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods you order are suitable for your home. All the information that we provide on the products are intended as a guide only, you should use them along side the manufacturers specifications. We may at our discretion allow you to return unwanted goods for exchange or refund. A minimum of 15% (of the product price) re-stocking charge will apply for this service. Returns must be in pristine saleable condition and in full working order, with all the original packaging as new. There may be a charge for delivery and collection of returned goods. If you would like to return a product you should contact us with details of the situation and we may then arrange uplift of the product. Your statutory rights are not effected under the distance selling regulations.
